Toxifiers have no ranged attacks. If it's staying out of reach it's harmless and someone can shoot it with arrows until dead.

Correction: if it's staying out of reach of the guy with Air Jet, it's harmless to the guy with Air Jet. In the common case though where there's more than one character around, it's not harmless to the others unless they are in Fireball Formation with the Air Jet guy.

(Though to be fair, the toxifier's damage is also pretty weak.)

1) "Staying out of reach" is controlled by the PCs. Being good upright people they are all wearing holy symbols, right? The Toxifier has a Dread of blessed objects.

2) Affect Spirits deals with Insubstantial, not Diffuse (unless DFRPG changed that).

It's a Toxifier-specific rule.

"Notes: Hard to injure due to being Diffuse, but weapons enchanted to affect spirits or insubstantial entities bypass this and do damage normally. Unwilling to negotiate. Truly evil."
