Laser Gun (Duck Tales)

It's a Gun item by the rule, but is it also a Laser item?
I suppose it's not, by literally applying the rule (it does not end with ...aser), am I correct?

EDIT: by the way, is the Gun rule "it's a Gun if it has 'gun' in the title" still active? I've just checked and I've not found it in the last edition of the Impossible rules...
