Default New Technomancer Setting Material

Over the last six months, I have greatly revised and expanded the material I've created for the Technomancer setting, which is now approaching 30,000 words of content.

This includes extensive mechanical material on using the 4th edition rules with the setting, substantial background material (updating the setting to the year 2023, adding detail, and expanding world coverage), and some crunchy new stuff to play with (new racial templates, 4th edition rules for elemental propellant slugthrowers, new models of flying carpet, new kinds of alchemical potions, grab-and-go golems of many materials and sizes . . .).


It's not as completed as I wanted, but my original internal deadline for publishing was June 30th, and I decided I should get what I have completed out now rather than risk letting it rot on my private hard drive. (Two of the files are incomplete-as-written, and a few other files I had vaguely planned are still just vaguely planned.)

Feel free to love it, hate it, change it for your own use, and steal bits for other campaigns.

Awesome stuff - reading through now. Just last week I'd thought "damn, I really want to do some Technomancer updates of my own" and here you are storming on ahead!



I took the liberty of turning your new Chimera templates into GCS files, with a note in each attributing them to you - all the values should be correct, though I noticed in your document that Half-Bats have Acute Hearing 2 costing 2 points instead of 4.

Ah, the perils of templates created by hand and uploaded without a double-checking by outside eyes. Thank you.
