Hi guys,
Brand new member here. I'm slowly working on an old-school "D&D" dungeon crawl using TFT mechanics. One creature I'd like to stat is the classic Beholder. Does the supplement Old School Monsters include them? If it doesn't, I'd love to hear how any of you have approached representing them in TFT terms. Thank you for any help! Beholders may or may not be covered by the most recent OGL, and hence aren't in OSM.
See https://www.belloflostsouls.net/2023...e-commons.html Personally I'd rather have wandering all-seeing pyramids.

Posted my version on FB awhile back...
https://m.facebook.com/groups/141064...ibextid=Nif5oz My take on an off-brand 'eye tyrant' (working title Wrathful Watcher). Not an exact conversion, of course, but these guys are pretty OP so I'll sometimes reduce the number of eyes they're working with. Their baseline stats are ST 50-60 (their spell-powers will cost them fatigue to use), DX 14, and IQ 16. MA is 8 (flying) and their tough hide stops 5 hits. 10 Eyestalk Rays: SLOW MOVEMENT CLUMSINESS or AVERT CONFUSION SLEEP FREEZE CONTROL PERSON TELEKINESIS REMOVE THROWN SPELL DEATH SPELL WIZARD’S WRATH (but using 'thrown' range penalties) Central Eye: MAGE SIGHT Note: Their 'rays' work like thrown spells except that they require an unobstructed line-of-sight to the target.

Thank you both for the responses. Tippets, I especially appreciate your take on the creature, and will use that as a starting point. And I agree they are possibly too powerful for most parties, and so I too might tone things down a bit.
Many thanks! |

They've 4 eyestalks, considerably smaller, 1/4 the HP, only Human median intellect, and half the armor. No central eye offensive effect, but the save vs spell being a reflection of the spell can be linked to it...
