I once played in a D&D BECM game where my PC had enchanted plate that had over 100 individual magical effects based on the runic carvings in it.
It wasn't really "OP" because how often do you need to summon in a single fully grown apple tree that lasts only 24 hours (as an example of one of the enchantments which was limited to once per day)? It was what I'd call "OP for ease of living" in that you always had food, water, some level of shelter, odd tools, etc... but it wasn't like +6 to kill everything and +6 all damage types, etc, or that sort of nonsense.
