Default Re: [Magic/Thaumatology] Gem Injection Ritual Magic

Another potential twist to the system;

Readers of Thaumatology will note that the Ruby college is noted to impose a personality change and Disadvantage.

In the similar vein to the Ruby college, each and every Gem college could influence the user’s personality while in effect, the exact effect depending on each Gem.

For example, the Gem granting the Protection and Warning college could make injectors paranoid, sullen and panicky. (Paranoia, Cowardice)
The Gem granting Mind Control spells could make them control freaks with a superiority complex. (Selfish, Megalomania, Overconfidence)
The Gem granting buffing spells from the Body Control college (see Amber above) makes them “roid rage”. (Bad Temper, Berserk, Bloodlust)
The Gem for Communication & Empathy makes injectors “playful”, “huggy” and “calling everyone baby” much like the stereotypical Ecstasy high. (Chummy)
The Gem granting Illusion may make you an annoyingly mean gadfly. (Trickster, Bully)
The Diamond college makes you robotically stoic and unfettered. (Hidebound, Fanaticism/Callous, Single Minded, emotional Disadvantages negated)

And so on.

What do you think, sirs?
