Yes, but unless you re-do the Crit chart so the great bulk of crits aren't "nothing special happened" crits that don't bypass Defenses aren't worth very much.

In World of D'y'r't we had a magic weapon that raised the crit chance to 7 but we never rolled anything on the chart that was worth the effort of rolling.
