Default Plant villains

Still waiting for the new bestiary so, does anyone know of a good plant monster to send after 62 pt delvers? Crushroom seems a bit much.

Dungeon Fantasy Companion 3's Shamblethorn is pretty cool. Tough but not unbeatable for 4-6 62 point delvers--16 points of injury is enough to "win" the encounter by reducing it to Move 3. As with most things DF-ish, outcomes are going to be swingey so don't be too disappointed if it misses one attack and then dies without accomplishing anything more. Making good use of it will involve using its Chameleon trait, possibly playing dead, and possibly Regeneration. (Playing up the "where did the body go?" angle, several hours later, if the PCs are not the Bloodlust type/don't dispose of the body thoroughly.)

It will be far deadlier if it catches anyone by surprise so it can reliably grapple them, as opposed to getting weapon-parried or retreat-Dodged. Even then, its grappling arm can be severed fairly readily. Consider using All Out Attack (Double Grapple) to put maximum pressure on players to kill it quickly. Use regular Attack if you want to be merciful.
