Enchantments as curses

One of the more obscure points in
https://www.hcobb.com/tft/necropus/
is a ring with the Stone Flesh enchantment as a curse for which only five persons could remove the ring once worn. (Those five presumably present at the time of enchantment.)
The advantage of making the enchantment itself a curse is that Dissolve Enchantment can only remove the underlying value of the item, not make it more generally useful.
