But that setting was meant to be playable with Han Solo-like characters without them turning into red mist if they got hit by a stray plasma bolt.
It was quite a pain to write up weapons, armor, space-ships etc. though.
Edit: Oh, and the best non-powered armor had 18/10 torso DR, while the heaviest power armor was 25/20.
