I'd like to say I don't think so. That would be tantamount to saying a summoned wolf can't bite you if you're under a Spell Shield, because the wolf is a spell. This is looking at it as the spell has been cast, the command travels through the air as an acoustic wave, and the ear of the target still hears and perceives it.
What bothers me about these otherwise reasonable arguments is that Spell Shield stops Missile spells. That really makes things complicated. I'd think a lightening bolt should still affect the target just like a summoned wolf's bite or any physical attack made by an illusion, but the rule clearly says it protects against Missile spells. Yet it doesn't work against a magic rope? That feels inconsistent.
