I may be alone in this, but I wouldn't let the bonuses from MISSILE WEAPONS apply to siege weapons. Instead, I really like the idea of synergy w/ MATHEMATICIAN for increased accuracy w/ artillery.

I believe that it would apply to the ballista but not the others.
