Affliction lets me add things like incapacitations, irritations, advantages, disadvantages, etc. I also can have some control over it with things like Cancellation and changing duration.
However, what if I wanted far more control of the thing I afflicted? For instance, lets pick Agony. Unaltered this just incapacitates someone with pain for a few minutes. But I'd like to, during those few minutes, decide if they are in pain and even how much (such as being able to "weaken" it to the Pain irritant). This can help with interrogation, but also illusion where I can force "damage" whenever my illusion strikes them. Or trick someone into thinking that they are allergic to silver. The important part is that I afflict a "state" on them that doesn't go away even when it does nothing.
Any ideas? Thank you ahead of time.

Use the +20% Suspendable modifier from
How to Be a GURPS GM: Ritual Path Magic, p. 10. To determine how much pain, add Selective Effect (also for +20%).
