DTG page 33:

"...you can spend 1 FP before
rolling to get +2 on a single active defense roll. This can
be done for any number of rolls, costing 1 FP each."

BS page 357:

"If you take any maneuver other than All-Out Attack,
you can spend 1 FP to get +2 to a single active defense roll...."

The only difference is that DTG clarifies you can do that more than once, with each time costing 1 FP.
