Level 8 + Kill monster + 2 treasures that each level up = win?

Hello,

I was a level 8, at my turn I:
- killed a monster
- picked up 2 treasures for the killing
- both treasures got me a level up each
> that potentially made me level 10 as I killed the monster during that same turn.

Am I right in thinking that I won, since it was in the very same turn?

I read the rules and the faq countless times and searched on the internet but I wasn't able to find an answer I would be sure about.
