So we have this problem:
Player 1 draws monster card and plays the Out to Lunch card. Player 2 then plays the Flask of Glue card. We agreed that the ‘escapes for any reason’ part could be interpreted as valid, but we are now arguing about the ‘ They must re-roll their escape (even if it was automatic the first time).’ Player 1 argues: I didn’t roll, monster was out of lunch, so it wasn’t an escape. I didn’t combat. So the card doesn’t work here. Player 2 argues: Out to lunch goes under ‘escape for any reason’ and you have to roll your escape because your escape was automatic the first time. Who is right? PS please reply soon! We are on day 10 of the strictest lockdown and isolation here (due to Covid) and we are driving each other mad. I don’t want to argue this for the rest of our isolation. |
