We played our first game of Munchkin: Disney on Monday, and I suspect we were playing it wrong.
Specifically, the "Princess" Class has an ability: "Once per round, on your turn, take the top Treasure discard, if it has a value of 200 Gold Pieces or less." well... as it so happens, MOST of the Treasure cards are non-item cards, and thus... have a value of 0 Gold Pieces. So ruled the "Game Owner". As a result, the top discard pile ended up with things like "Go Up A Level", giving the Princess player free levels. I suspect the card's INTENTION is that only "item" cards would be available for the animal friends to scavenge, meaning that the card must have SOME value listed in Gold Pieces. (After asking Steve Jackson support this question, rather than answer the question themselves, they redirected me over to these forums I had previously had no knowledge of.) |
