Re: Revival and Remove Thrown Spell
If desired as a house rule, many spells could be ruled reversible/removable by a second casting of the same spell on the same subject. Lock/Knock could be considered the precedent. So for example a Sleep spell already on a subject might be removed by another wizard that knows Sleep casting it on the same subject. Of course Remove or Dissolve are still much more useful, as the caster doesn't need to know the specific spell they are seeking to end. There's a certain poetic justice though to a wizard being able to cast the counter-spell to reverse or undo a spell they have already mastered.
