DFRPG Shatterproof cost

According to Adventurers, p. 118, it costs $8,000 to permanently enchant a weapon with the Shatterproof spell. If I wanted to design other durable magic items using the DF Magic Items book, is it reasonable to just add $8,000 to the price and call them shatterproof? I'm not sure if different types of items would require different costs.
