Best of all you can't fail to missile an exact hex of wall, even at negative adjDX while wearing iron armor.
Just reduce the chance of chips flying to one in six to keep the danger close aspect without the cheese.

Ha. Kieddicus I have never seen this before. Now finally we have some nice area damage spells. And they have been there all along.
Plus in caves you can aim for the ceiling instead of the floor. Just as easy to hit and the advantage is no one will be blocking the blast from those behind them. 3 hex range in every direction from the blast... wow that is a large blast area. 37 hexes. And a chance at a cave-in too... if you are inclined to come up with rules for that. Yea, this should be fixed. I would just ignore it for both combat and mining. In a mining operation, do we really need this detail? Farm is a dangerous job in real life, maybe we need saving rolls or damage for that too. |
