We're an active and welcoming community with a variety of available channels. The full list is below for those really interested, but the short of it is -- we love GURPS, we love games, and we love gamers, so all those things are represented. Hope to see you there!

#gurps-1 and #gurps-2: Any and all things GURPS-related! (The second channel is for overflow when the first gets busy).
#gurps-newcomers: For introductory questions and the GURPS-curious.
#gurps-resources: Links to a variety of useful resources (Other Communities, Tools, Blogs, Videos, Playing Online, and Map Making atm).
#gurps-workshop: The deep delve area for focused, in-depth mechanics and rules discussions.
#worldbuilding: Discussions of the non-mechanical aspects of your game settings (languages, flora and fauna, hypothetical political and military structures, societal customs, etc.), GURPS or not.
#other-geekery: Other RPGs, video games, board and card games, movies and TV shows, technology. Geeky stuff.
#non-geekery-chat: Non-geeky (but still non-contentious) stuff like light current events, cooking/recipes, etc.
#all-covid-all-the-time: Temporary.

#introductions: Come in say howdy! (optional, of course)
#blogs-and-media: Discussion of various online GURPS material, both updates by those who create them and questions/chat from those who read and use them.
#looking-for-group: For finding GMs and players (mostly online, but depending on where you live you could get lucky with a local face-to-face game). Includes a Google spreadsheet of same.
#video-games-lfg: For finding other players of video games to team up with or against.
#apps: End-user discussion and questions about various GURPS-related software/website tools. The authors of GURPS Character Assistant, GURPS Character Sheet, GURPS Calculator, GURPS Assistant, the Fantasy Grounds GURPS Ruleset, the Roll20 GURPS Character Sheet #1 and a few others are often around.
#apps-dev: Author/coder discussion of the same.
#vtts-map-making: Discussion of a wide variety of Virtual Tabletops (Fantasy Grounds, Roll20, MapTool, Battlegrounds, etc.) and Map Making software (Campaign Cartographer, Inkarnate, Wonderdraft, etc.)
#vtts-map-making-sharing: Sharing of resources for the same (tokens, maps, etc.)
