Monster won't chase you

Hi guys & gals

Finally pulled the trigger and picked up a copy of Munchkin Deluxe for much fun and frolics at home and at the gaming club.

Our first game at home and I noticed it saying on some Monster cards "will not persue if below level 5".
Pretty straight forward and just wanted to clarify that the monster won't attack if I was only level 2 which means I don't need to roll to run away so won't lose any of my cards.

You can still fight the monster, but if you’re unable to kill it, you Run Away automatically.
