Aside from the rules for crouching down behind corpses, I am not finding any cover mechanics... though I will admit I am not 100% immersed in the rules yet. I may have just missed them.
I know it would be easy to come up with some house rules, but is there anything official about using say... a tree, boulder, wall, collapsed building, etc for cover? |

There are some on ITL page 122, which may serve as guidelines for a GM to make more for whatever situation. The optional rules for targetting specific body parts on a target on ITL pages 120-121 might also help.

Minimal cover (no more than 30%) is -2 DX Partial/half cover is -4 DX Heavy cover (70 to 90%) is -6 DX For full cover use a lightning bolt. ;)

Thanks for the responses. I'll look into the targeted attacks and if that doesn't work will go with something similar to @Skarg's post.

Welcome to the fold!
If you would like to be maximally guided by the RAW but the situation is not similar to the rules for crouching behind a body, I think you are best off specifying what body part is showing and then applying the optional aimed shot rules. |
