I want to know if I'm hitting you with ×16 amount of force because I'm four times as strong and my club is four times as heavy.
I'm sure physics is a bit trickier than just that, but do I have the right idea?
If not, I'd love to be corrected.

To accelerate 4x the mass to a given speed would require 4x the force to begin with. So you're looking at 4x the mass going at the same speed as some lighter attack. So I think you would just have 4x the force (the speed vector remains the same, only the mass has changed). I'm not sure why you're counting this twice.
