Munchkin red dragon inn: drinks in other versions?

Are any other cards aside from the ones in the red dragon inn expansion considered Drinks? Is it an "undead" situation where the card has to explicitly say it's a Drink or is it more of a "Gear" situation where is the card art clearly shows something intended to be drunk (like yuppie water or mouthful of ale)?

Only cards that say they are Drinks count as Drinks.
