Default What exactly are the differences between editions, printings and publish dates?

I wanted an English version of Munchkin, but those cost triple if not more than the traslated game.
I decided to buy the English version second hand, which also meant I might end up with an older version. I now have the June 2014, 26th printing, 1st edition.

But I know there are many later printings. What are ALL the EXACT differences between the game I have and the latest release?

Could I decide to follow updated rules for the game?
If I play the game a lot, could it be worth buying a more recent version of the game?

The game you have and the game that is currently being published are basically interchangeable. We have made a couple of rule revisions but you can deal with those on the fly.

In general, we don't make big changes from printing to printing.

I have now deleted two replies that offered irrelevant information. The poster had a specific question about a specific printing and my answer was also specific. Replying with more general comments was actually misleading as they did not relate to the printing the original poster asked about.

I am going to ask, again, that people not go off on tangents in the 101 forum. This is meant as a Q&A group, not a general discussion zone. Thanks.
