I was thinking a religious order would require a Wizard (or Hero) to actually "convert"...
1. No longer member of WG * 2. No longer do business with WG * 3. Give up your Staff and start a new one that is a holy symbol or contains a holy symbol. * The religious order takes the place of the WG for the convert. They teach certain spells or versions of normal spells and sell their own versions of magic items (called "blessed" or "holy" items/relics).

Only if you wanted it to but I don't see a problem. I don't really consider the Greek and Roman pantheons to be religions. More like superstitions. Even if you made those gods real-ish, the WG doesn't necessarily see them as gods. They might just see them as beings of power to be manipulated for their own ends. Do the wizards that summon demons worship the demons?

Great solution, HCOBB...
I like it that it 1) doesn't prove the existence of gods 2) doesn't exactly mirror wizardly casting 3) doesn't require knowing the spells the way a wizard does 4) doesn't emulate D&D. 5) ties into the talents |

Are you sure that was the spell used? It might have been a simple levitation spell.
