Wolves, Bears, etc. Multi-hex?

Well, of course, anything will fight to the death if you corner it...

I remember this freaking HUGE rat that took up residence in a garden shed one time -- attacked the cat and severely injured it; we had to go in after it, and I swear it was as big as a small dog (I'm talking small poodle here, not chihuahua). We eventually chased it away, because none of us had the intestinal fortitude to go up against that thing mano-a-rato! (And one of us was a Green Beret -- I kid you not!)
