Can a Mate card be played on a monster with which the player hasn't started fighting? (Such as a Stoned Golem if the player is a non-Halfling, or an Amazon if the player is a female)
One person I was playing with abused Mate and Amazon to get herself two Treasures instead of one. Is this allowed?
