That's a given, which was essentially stated as such in the original post.

However, perhaps you are right - that in the end, it really is not that big a deal in the grand-scheme of things; but you know Chris, when your are dedicated and passionate about something which is so near and dear to your heart, and you see it handled publicly in such a blatantly careless and misinformed way by a person who can't even respect the thing enough to get our basic terms, concepts, and history correct - it's insulting and it hurts.

I trust you can relate to that.
