Fake tentacle

Hello, I have the following doubt.

I am a sectarian who has equipped "Maaaaaaster!", A headgear that can only be equipped by sectarians.
Then I equip the "fake tentacle" that can be worn together with another headgear.
Then, for some reason, I lose the sectarian class, forcing me to unequip "Maaaaaaster!", Do I have to unequip also from the fake tentacle?
