Is it too late for my local game store to get involved? I've talked to them and they show interest in hosting the event. Can they still?

They need to email retailers@sjgames.com to join in. As long as they do that in the next day or two, I suspect the team can get the store added.

We may be out of kits for the first one, but we can definitely get them organized play support to run something that weekend, it may not have the exact contents but we can talk to them about it via the email that Phil posted above.
