Limit to stash?

Is there a limit to how many monsters can be in the stash at one time? The rulebook has 4 slots in the illustration, but I've seen articles that implied they had way more stashed away.

No limit to the cards in your stash. It's a guide, I actually store my cards in my stash perpendicular to my opponent with their health visible in case they decide to try and attack them...
