Is the game supposed to be a casual game?

A few reviews I’ve watches on YouTube have talked like this is baby’s first CCG. I played the game at the Milwaukee event last month and I’m old enough to have started playing Magic 25 years ago when it came out and I didn’t see this game as any simpler or more complex than Magic. I also remember that when Magic came out it wasn’t as serious as it became a few years after release.

And now after seeing the spoilers I think the game can be as serious of a deck building game as any CCG. Am I nuts?

Also any up coming rules for limited play? For leauges I’ve always been a fan of the draft or sealed format. This is the first CCG I’ve played with the class format (I only purchased the WoW CCG for the scratch off cards)
