For clarity's sake, I'd like to point out that the PDF option is actually in the price. There's a small arrow in the price field that gives access to the PDF. I had to e-mail customer service to figure that one out, because the giant "AVAILABLE AS A DIGITAL FILE" link (which goes to the FAQ) caught my eye.

You can stop holding out. I bought one for a friend in WY yesterday evening. Once customer service got back to me, I bought a PDF copy (by using a gift certificate) for a friend in CA.
