Re: The Knight's special trait Armor Mastery, does it apply to each piece of armor? Even multiple pieces layered on the same area? As written, I'm inclined to rule yes, but if that's true, its definitely underpriced.

Comparing it to Armor Mastery in DF, I'd say it's per location more than it's per piece layered.
However, a player in DFRPG is not expected to have that book to reference, so it may require concise clarification. |

The ability is giving you an overall +1 to DR if you are wearing DR2+ for those parts of you covered by DR2+ armor.

Knowing full GURPS, that's how I'd run it, too. Unfortunately, that's not what the ability actually says. It says to raise the armor's effective DR by 1. If you are layering multiple armors on the same area, as written, each one should get an additional point of DR.

So someone with armor mastery and wearing two layers of armor, the inner layer granting +1DR to the top layer that is DR3 (making it a total of DR4) get +1DR to that (or DR5) not +1 DR per layer. |

In both GURPS Dungeon Fantasy and the Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game, Armor Mastery gives at most a flat +1 DR to each hit location.
