Hello all!
This is all about the custom quirks you have allowed your players to take. Or that you have put on your character sheet as a GM. Inspired by my real life experience, the first quirk is something that I will put on my next character: Will Karate Parry any incoming arm or leg. When you have spend enough time training for self-defense, anytime an arm or a leg comes above a certain speed the reflexes that you have taught your body will get triggered and you will parry, deflect or grab the offending limb before realizing it wasn't an attack and apologizing and having a good laugh about it. And then there are the idiots who willingly go trigger it because they think your harmless overreaction is hilarious. Meh, no harm no foul I guess. |

There's a whole thread of quirks to take advantage of. :)

That's pretty funny. I find that real life is a great source of inspiration for quirks. For the past three years I played a character with the quirk "always refers to self in third person". It lead to some confusing moments in shops and such.

I wonder if this would count as a physical quirk.
Everyone has always misjudged my weight by around 30 pounds or more. I was recently told that I've lost too much and am now underweight by two relatives so far. I'm 5'11', and weighed 188 lbs this morning. In an adventure setting, I can see this having some more negative issues than just overly concerned relatives or annoyed nurses.

Speaking as someone who was 6' 2" and 170 lbs. when he was 18, 20 lbs. under my "ideal" weight (of 190 lbs.) for my height and build, according to the USAF in '90, I could see "appears to weigh less than he actually does" as a physical quirk.
