In such cases, the definition of Greed can be altered to represent insatiable desire to possess things which have value to the characters, which will lead to various forms of fraud or theft, and will cause inter-party disruption.
For example, a greedy caveman who regularly steals food from other members of his tribe. The greedy Cabal member who insists on messing with the world economy by sacrificing massive lots of gold bullion to Mammon in exchange for the demonic power which will allow him to to steal the Golden Apple of Discord from Mt. Olympus.
