Hopefully this isn't too complicated.
The Wand of Disbursement is technically playable during any combat, but the Lich states no cards can be played to affect the combat. I've seen in other posts that nothing can be played on the Lich, but this seems awfully specific on the Wand's part. A player not in the combat wants to stop the person in combat from going from Level 8 to Level 10, what happens? |

The Lich overrides the Wand.

Thanks!
Is there any specific reason why the Lich gets precedence over the Wand? Do Monsters always beat out One-Shots and/or Items? |

"Play during any combat" is a generic instruction found on most one-shots with combat bonuses. "May not play cards to affect the Lich" (paraphrased) is a very specific instruction for that card alone. Specific beats general.

Hello lads, I was just guessing if cards that affect either sides that could not be played against the Lich are just those that say " gives + 5 to either side " .
What if I decide to play a curse or a monster enhancer card? Does it still count as " card that affect either side? |

The Lich's wording is specific: you may not play a card that affects the combat. That includes playing a Monster Enhancer or playing a Curse on the player who is fighting.

I take it this overrides this ruling on the Grim Roper, which MunchkinMan said here applies to the Lich as well, then?
