Eh, depends on the gun and the mod. A limbsaver on a shotgun is incredibly useful. Although it's debatable whether such a thing is "tactical" |

I'd really enjoy a treatment from Hans on the subject of guidelines for which guns should get a Holdout bonus or penalty from what their Bulk would indicate, guns that are especially uncomfortable to carry or tiring to use in sustained fire, etc. Or guidelines on rounds that are very accurate within point blank range, but difficult to use at longer range because of extreme trajectory. Basically, the benefit of Hans's encyclopedic knowledge of weapons when developing a list of a lot of +/- 1 bonuses or penalties for specific situations that distinguish between real world weapons that GURPS currently does not make all that different at the level of granularity present. Something makes Weapon Bond for a specific weapon a choice that is superior in situations where that weapon is appropriate, but not necessarily the only game-mechanically effective choice, by rewarding operators who choose specific weapons for specific situations.
