Maybe, maybe not. I play X-Wing and TANKS and in both we've had 8 (or more) models in the play area. It tends to thin out quickly as the game goes along. :)

I too play X-Wing as well as Wings of Glory and 8 can easily play on 3x3 mat. In addition, those HO Scale cars will be smaller than some of bases for those games so there should be plenty of room. I have found that if you play on larger mats you have this issue with people avoiding each other versus attacking. I did find the mat he was using on a website and it was 3x3 Wish we get some new information soon. |
