Assuming I have at least two race cards, can I play both the 1/2 Breed and 1/3 Breed cards and eventually have a total of 5 race cards in play?

That one appears to be in the FAQ, or same concept anyway. Ctrl+F "Can I have two"

No. You cannot play two Half-Breeds to get three Race cards, and this is an extension of that ruling.
