The post about how the Wizard did it sparked a memory. Here is a wizard I posted as part of a monster of the week thread on gurps net. With slight modification he would make a great monster making wizard. He predates 4th edition though. If you can't tell he was influenced by "creatures of the night" and used with Cypher scarabs.

Looks great and handy too!

Dont suppose you'd consider converting/updating his point costs etc for those looking for a suitable enemy (or ally!). Seems like he'd be a great fit for DF.
