Munchkin 7: Cheat with both hands says that steeds and vehicles are the same type of card, and that anything that affects one affects the other.

Possibly extremely dumb question, as I'm nowhere near my decks at the moment. If I'm blending decks with boths steeds and vehicles, does this mean can I fight a vehicle as a monster in the same way as I can fight a steed?
