I bought this book and I feel it was well done. I like classical mythical monsters and this book does a good job adjusting them for DF PCs which are true killing machines. I like the monster variations too. I also like the combat notes. I understand that DF needs to have some classic monsters of myth but I hope future monster supplements will have more non-European monsters because I have an Arabian Nights DF mash up that spans from the Middle East to India and Indonesia so some other more exotic monsters would be interesting for me.

None; it is a creation of magic.

Well, Europe isn't the only place in the world with myths. Those non-European mythological monsters would have been fair game in this book, too.

Seconded on both fronts, with emphasis on the first. Would absolutely cheer for DF Monsters of East Asia but very excited here to see monsters that Homer, Pliny and C.S. Lewis would recognize - instant buy also. I feel like this is how DF should be - fair enough, occasionally peppered with otyughs, malathropes and doomchildren for flavor.

I also think adding non-European monsters would be a nice touch. For example: The Penanggalan or Indonesian/Malaysian Vampire would be a nice addition.
