Default [New Release] GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 3: Born of Myth & Magic

This collection of 16 new monsters (plus variations) -- from the mind of GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 1 co-author Peter V. Dell'Orto -- includes classic creatures of legend such as the medusa and manticore, as well as threats forged from eldritch forces, like the phase spider and lava lizard. It also includes three new prefixes, and even more.

Don't delay; download GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 3: Born of Myth & Magic today from Warehouse 23 . . . and discover the magic your game has been mything!

To preempt the obvious question, the full list of monsters is Basilisk, Cockatrice, Doppelganger, Dryad, Giant Ant, Harpy, Lava Lizard, Living Pit, Manticore, Medusa, Octopus Blossom, Phase Serpent, Phoenix, Rock Troll, Rot Worm, and Shadow Warrior.

Plus many variations of the same. For example, the Vermiform Medusa is a Lamia, without the garlic and chocolate bit. Add the Phase prefix to Spiders to get, well, you know. Sirens are variant Harpies.

Prefixes are Flying, Furious, Holy, and Phase.

Posted a review on my blog: https://blindmapmaker.wordpress.com/...of-myth-magic/

The only downside: too short and nothing much on non-western (okay Indo-European) myth. The upside: everything else, especially getting some of the classical fully statted.

Hey, all! I just sent out an update on this that fixed a couple of typos (on p. 4 and 22) and a bit of errata on p. 15 (the Immortal option for the medusa now correctly has "Unkillable 1").
