Default Re: Arabian Adventures for DF

The PCs travel down towards the ruins of the temple. The roof has collapsed and there are only broken pillars surrounding a fire pit. A statue of a sphinx is at the end of the temple and glares menacingly as though it were guarding the temple. When the PCs cross between the pillars of the temple ruins, the sand begins to swirl and a huge column of fire shoots upward blindingly brightly. The column of fire begins to form the shape of a man composed of flames some 30 fret tall. The flame man belows "Who dares disturb the rest of the great Makrut? Begone!"

At that the flame man hurls fire balls toward the PCs. The flame man must remain in the fire and if the fire is extinguished then the flame man is defeated.

While the PCs deal with the flame man, skeleton warriors begin to claw themselves from the sand and attack the PCs. There are two skeleton warriors for each PC. They fight as 250 point Knights armed with swords and armor.

If the flame man is defeated and combat is going against the skeleton warriors then Makrut's ka spirit will descend from the field of reeds and animate the statue of the spjinx. The ST is 50 and the DC is 15. It attacks by clubbing with is paws skill 20 or bite skill 24.
