Munchkin 2 Unnatural Axe - Friendly / Lust Monster

Hello everyone. I have a quick question about the Lust Monster card. Due to a recent playing of the "Sex Change" card, everyone playing is female. Player decides to kick down a door and gets "Lust Monster" which says it needs a male and a female in order to fight. Since we only have females at this point, the monster cannot be fought.

Player then plays the "Friendly" card which states it will give you all the treasure without fighting. Does this combo actually work to give the player the treasure?

Yes, it does. Fighting requires someone of the opposite sex, automatic defeats and non-fighting situations do not.
