Unicorn steed pay the ferryman

Player A has unicorn steed. Player B kicks open the door and gets cursed pay the ferryman. Should Player A be affected by the curse?

Yes, because Unicorn Steed protects you from Curses played by other players. It doesn't protect you from Curses found when Kicking Open The Door.

If someone had *played* Pay the Ferryman, on any player, Unicorn Steed would have protected you.
