Along those lines, yes, though not exactly that. As far as I can tell it's not aluminum you want, but the only safe containment is certain metals that form a fluorinated surface layer. And if that layer is damaged the container may burn through anyway. Also on the list of things it can combust: asbestos.

Can't think of anything it could do that doesn't fall under the description 'Immune to Contact Agents' then. EDIT: It makes a specific point of keeping water and such out of your internal parts, but as far as I can tell being vulnerable to that in the first place would be a Disadvantage...

No, you don't. The by-products of its reactions with anything containing hydrogen are themselves deadly poisons (hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acids). It wasn't discovered until 1930, so will be unknown in most fantasy settings (taking fluorine compounds apart to make it is hard).

Just take the normal -15 penalty for TL 3 to TL 6. Of course, HF isn't actually all that strong of an acid; it's more of an extremely strong oxidizing agent with a side effect of being chemically toxic.

You get it on you, and not only does it set you on fire, but it also then goes happily to your skeleton and chews it up. Which suggests that it's got a burning attack with multiple levels of that cosmic-incendiary combo that Ghostdancer came up with, along with tox damage and corrosion. That's one big bad nasty mess of linked attacks. Side track, but an interesting/entertaining one.

HF is a deadly poison (as well as a nasty corrosive), but HCl isn't. HCl is a strong acid and can certainly burn you at high enough concentrations, but is very innocuous otherwise.
